CORE Evaluate ยท AI software testing and compliance readiness

Know exactly what you have, before anything changes.

Evaluate examines the software you already run on two fronts: how well it really works, and whether the controls your auditors will ask about actually exist in the code. Then it fixes what it can, and re-tests to prove the fix held.

The Evaluate approach

Test thoroughly. Fix. Test again.

A report full of red is only useful if something happens next. Evaluate connects every finding to an action.

Functional quality

Workflows and business rules checked against what the system is supposed to do.

Performance under load

Response times and stability measured under the load profile you agree, run from inside your own hosting.

Security and controls

Vulnerabilities, misconfigurations and missing compliance controls, each traced to the file behind it.

Heal and verify

Supported fixes applied under your rules, then the relevant tests re-run to confirm nothing else moved.

Self-heal in Evaluate

Findings come back as fixes, not just tickets.

For eligible findings, CORE writes the fix, applies it under the controls you set, and re-runs the tests that matter. Compliance gaps get the same treatment: a missing ownership check or an exposed secret comes back as a change you can review.

  • Supported vulnerabilities fixed automatically, then re-tested.
  • Test suites repair themselves when your screens and APIs change.
  • Every fix is recorded in the report and the audit trail. Nothing heals silently.

Where Evaluate leads

Evaluate is usually where the work begins.

Once you know what you have, the next move is clear. Some findings are fixed by self-heal on the spot. Larger changes go to Optimize. If the report shows the architecture itself is the problem, Re-engineer takes it from there.

Questions about Evaluate

What does CORE Evaluate test?

Evaluate covers two areas. Quality and testing includes functional, regression, API and integration, load and performance, browser and device, accessibility and data integrity testing, plus vulnerability assessment and penetration testing. Compliance readiness checks your code, infrastructure and program records against SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP 20x, FISMA, NIST CSF 2.0 and CCPA/CPRA.

Do I need to run both quality testing and compliance readiness?

No. Each can be run on its own. Many teams start with the one that has a deadline attached, such as an upcoming audit or release, and add the other later against the same codebase.

Can Evaluate fix the problems it finds?

Yes, for supported findings. Self-heal applies eligible fixes under the controls you configure, then re-runs the relevant tests to confirm the fix and check for regressions. Every fix is listed in the report so your team can review it before production.

Does Evaluate need access to production?

No. Most testing runs against a test or staging environment you choose. Compliance readiness needs read-only access to your repository and, if you want deeper coverage, read-only connections to tools such as your cloud console or ticketing system.
